when they come in to middle school there will already be a foundation of
trust.

- Spent a good deal of the afternoon working on the lesson for youth this
evening. I lamented to 33d64f43 yesterday that I didn’t feel
ilke I had a connection with 72b20cda like I do with 96a349fa. Well, 72b20cda decided he wanted to
play with me and I had to take some time away from the lesson, because
ultimately investing in my own children is far more important and impactful
than one lesson at youth.
- The lesson at youth went well, anyway. We talked about how faith is abandoning
all reliance on our own efforts and putting our full confidence in God, his
word, and his promises. Faith is when we have confidence in and a
commitment to the triune God.
