• Rough morning. 96a349fa woke up at 2:45am and didn’t go back to sleep. Making bad choices and I did not speak to him lovingly
• TACO TUESDAY! My parent’s brought Rosa’s over to our house, as is the tradition. The boys were well-behaved and surprisingly didn’t have any meltdowns.
• We didn’t watch TV before bed. A win in my book.
• Moved both boys into the same room, and it made bedtime surprisingly easy. 96a349fa got out of bed one time and 72b20cda only cried for a few minutes.
• 33d64f43 and I worked on our BSF on the couch upstairs outside the boys’ room while we waited for them to fall asleep. I fell asleep, too. 😂

• I love working from home because I get to take part in specials things in my kids’ lives. 96a349fa learned how to fasten buttons today and he came into my office to show me. If I had been off at the office somewhere, I would have missed it.
• I’m actually looking forward to canceling my Hulu Live TV subscription now that the Olympics are over. So much time wasted in front of the tube (ha, not tubes anymore). Also thinking about ways to reduce my kids TV time (move the TV out of the main room?)

• Played freeze tag with some of the boys from church. Investing in them now so when they come in to middle school there will already be a foundation of trust.
• Had 96a349fa help me make mac & cheese
• Spent a good deal of the afternoon working on the lesson for youth this evening. I lamented to 33d64f43 yesterday that I didn’t feel ilke I had a connection with 72b20cda like I do with 96a349fa. Well, 72b20cda decided he wanted to play with me and I had to take some time away from the lesson, because ultimately investing in my own children is far more important and impactful than one lesson at youth.
• The lesson at youth went well, anyway. We talked about how faith is abandoning all reliance on our own efforts and putting our full confidence in God, his word, and his promises. Faith is when we have confidence in and a commitment to the triune God.

• Successfully cleaned up the playroom without too much hassle!

• SLIME! Spent a good amount of time playing with 96a349fa and 72b20cda with some awesome slime that 33d64f43 made.
• Coloring! Broke open the new pack of markers to color. 96a349fa drew a peacock, I drew a Cozy Coupe
• Went on a 5.88km run
  • I took 96a349fa with me. He napped while I ran, then we stopped off at the playground to play for a bit before we headed home.
• Bob Ross painted a convincing campfire in S03E10: Campfire

• I went on a 2.89km Run on my neighborhood trails. I love that there is a walking/running path right by my house.
• Started “Numbered” project. This is to keep track of the things I did each day that were worthwhile.
• We drew a family tree for 96a349fa so he could understand how our family fits together (brothers, sisters, mommies, daddies, etc)
  • Then we decorated it as a “tree”—I think he enjoyed that more than seeing how the family works 😅
• Marveled at the magic of Bob Ross (S28E01: Fisherman’s Trail)
  • 96a349fa fell asleep
  • 72b20cda was going crazy 🙂
